Nanny's Tea Cakes

1970's Deming,NM · Nanny’s cookbook — Dorothy Bishop

This is a cookie recipe that it took me a long time to get. I remember Nanny would make these cookies from scratch almost every Saturday when Mom and I would go over and have coffee. I kept asking her for the recipe but it was in her head, she said she had no idea how to write it down. So, one day I had her measure each thing she put into the bowl while I wrote it all down. Now we have her recipe! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
